1. About these terms
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Elixor for using the Elixor app and website. Elixor is run by Isa Ijaz, an individual based in the UK ("Elixor", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Elixor, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Elixor.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal data. It is separate from these terms.
The short version:
- Elixor is free, and we provide it as it is.
- You own what you post. You give us permission to show it on Elixor.
- Ideas you share publicly can be seen and copied by others. Only share what you are happy to make public.
- Deals, partnerships and collaborations you make with other users are between you and them, not us.
- Feedback on Elixor comes from other users. It is not professional advice.
- Be kind, be honest and follow the law, or we may remove your content or account.
- Our responsibility to you is limited, as Section 13 explains, but never below what the law requires.
2. Who can use Elixor
You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you should read these terms with a parent or carer. You must give your real date of birth when you sign up.
You cannot use Elixor if we have previously suspended or removed your account, unless we agree.
3. Your account
- Keep your password safe and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens on your account unless someone else got into it without your fault.
- Keep your profile honest. Do not pretend to be someone else or claim achievements, roles or projects that are not yours.
- Tell us straight away at theisaijaz@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
4. Your content and your ideas
4.1 You own it. Your projects, updates, comments, messages, photos and videos ("your content") stay yours.
4.2 Permission you give us. So that Elixor can work, you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive permission to store, copy, display and adapt your content (for example, resizing a photo) to run and improve Elixor and show it to the people who can see it under our privacy policy. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other users have already shared and anything we must keep by law. We will not use your content in advertising or on our website without asking you first.
4.3 You must have the right to post it. Only post content you created or have permission to use. You are responsible for your content and for any harm it causes.
4.4 Public ideas are public. Anything you post where others can see it is not confidential. Other users may see, discuss or copy your ideas, and we cannot stop that or protect your ideas for you. Elixor is not a place for trade secrets. If an idea needs protecting, keep it private or get proper legal protection, such as a non-disclosure agreement, before you share it.
5. The rules
When you use Elixor, you must not:
- break the law, or help anyone else to;
- harass, bully, threaten or abuse anyone, or post hateful content;
- post sexual content, or anything that puts a child at risk;
- share someone else's private information without their permission;
- pretend to be someone else, or mislead people about who you are or what you have built;
- post spam, scams, pyramid schemes or misleading investment offers;
- ask other users for money or investment in a way that is misleading or illegal;
- post content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- upload viruses or harmful code, or try to break, overload or get around Elixor's security;
- collect other users' data, or use bots or scripts to access Elixor;
- use Elixor to promote a business that has nothing to do with building on Elixor, such as unrelated advertising.
The community guidelines in the app (Settings, then Community guidelines) are part of these rules.
6. Other users and collaborations
6.1 We do not check people. We do not verify who users are, what they have built or what they can do. Take care before you trust someone, share personal details or agree to work together.
6.2 Deals are between you. Elixor helps you find people. Any collaboration, partnership, job, investment, sale, equity split or other arrangement you make with another user is between you and them. We are not part of it, and we are not responsible for whether the other person keeps their side of it. Put important agreements, especially about money, ownership or equity, in writing, and get advice before you sign anything.
6.3 Staying safe. Do not share your address, school, phone number or financial details with people you meet on Elixor. If you are under 18, never meet someone from Elixor in person without a parent or carer's agreement, and tell an adult you trust if anyone makes you uncomfortable.
6.4 Disagreements with other users. If you fall out with another user, you need to sort it out with them. You can report someone who breaks these terms, and we will act as Section 7 explains, but we do not have to settle disputes between users.
7. Moderation and suspension
7.1 What we can do. We do not check content before it is posted. If we believe content or an account breaks these terms or the law, or puts someone at risk, we may remove the content, limit what the account can do, suspend it or close it. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why. We may also report illegal content to the police or other authorities.
7.2 Reports. You can report content or people in the app. We review reports, but we cannot promise to act on every one, or within a set time.
7.3 If you disagree. Email theisaijaz@gmail.com and a person will look at the decision again.
8. Elixor's own content
The Elixor name, logo, app design and our own text and code belong to us. You may not copy them or use them to suggest you are connected with Elixor, except to share links to Elixor or your projects on it.
9. Feedback is not professional advice
Feedback, comments, answers and suggestions on Elixor come from other users. They are opinions, not professional advice. Nothing on Elixor is financial, investment, legal, tax or other professional advice, whether it comes from another user or from us. Get proper advice before making decisions that matter, such as investing money, signing contracts, hiring people or starting a company. Elixor does not offer investments, and we do not check any investment or money-making offer posted by users.
10. Other websites and apps
Users may share links to other websites, and you may share projects to other apps. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them or their content. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
11. Availability and changes to Elixor
Elixor is free and is in beta. We provide it "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running well, but we do not promise that it will always be available, be free of errors or bugs, keep your content forever, or do any particular thing for you. Keep your own copies of anything important.
We may change, add or remove features, or pause or stop Elixor altogether. If we are going to close Elixor, we will try to give at least 30 days' notice in the app so you can save what you need.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using Elixor and delete your account at any time. We may close your account under Section 7, or if Elixor closes. If your account is closed, these sections still apply to anything that happened before: 4.3, 6, 9, 13, 14, 16 and 18.
13. Our responsibility to you
13.1 What we never exclude. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
13.2 What we are not responsible for. Subject to 13.1, we are not responsible for:
- content posted by other users, or anything other users say or do, on Elixor or elsewhere;
- any collaboration, deal, investment, payment or dispute between you and another user (Section 6);
- decisions you make based on feedback, comments or other content on Elixor (Section 9);
- other people seeing, using or copying ideas or content you have made public (Section 4.4);
- Elixor being unavailable, slow, changed or closed (Section 11), or content you did not keep your own copy of;
- other websites and apps (Section 10);
- delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as a failure of our hosting provider, a power cut or a cyber attack we could not reasonably have prevented.
13.3 Business losses. Elixor is a free service. Whether or not you use it for a business, we are not liable to you for loss of profit, revenue, income, business, contracts, goodwill or business opportunity, or for any loss that was not a reasonably foreseeable result of something we did wrong.
13.4 Our total limit. Subject to 13.1, our total liability to you for everything connected with Elixor and these terms is limited to £100.
13.5 Why these limits are fair. Elixor is provided free of charge, and it connects people whose behaviour we cannot control. These limits reflect that. If any part of this section is found to be unenforceable, the rest of it still applies.
14. Your responsibility for misuse
If you are 18 or over and you break these terms or the law, and as a result someone makes a claim against us, you are responsible for the losses and reasonable costs we suffer because of it.
15. Complaints
If you are unhappy with Elixor or with a decision we made, email theisaijaz@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 14 days. Complaints about personal data are covered in our privacy policy.
16. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. If a change significantly affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you do not agree with the new terms, you can stop using Elixor and delete your account. If you keep using Elixor after the change takes effect, the new terms apply.
18. General
- If Elixor is sold or transferred, we may transfer these terms to the new owner. Your rights under them will not be reduced.
- Only you and we have rights under these terms. No one else can enforce them.
- If a court decides that part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
